The EOC, the multisite hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. Head of Medical Secretariats (80-100%)
Profile:
The medical secretariats team mainly handles activities such as patient reception, drafting medical reports, performance recording, and appointment management.
We are looking for a lively, flexible, and dynamic person, capable of facing daily challenges with initiative, firmness, sensitivity, and fairness, always remaining calm even under pressure.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in team leadership and process management. In addition to a sense of responsibility and flexibility, they possess authoritative, balanced leadership oriented towards people development and interdisciplinarity. They are capable of defining objectives and priorities, organising and coordinating teams across multiple sites, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring uniformity, quality, and efficiency of processes.
They promote a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and continuous improvement, paying particular attention to the quality of service offered to the patient, digitalisation, innovation, and organisational evolution.
Necessary requirements:
- Federal Certificate of Capacity as a commercial employee with commercial professional maturity or higher education in economics or management;
- Proven experience in leading medium to large teams;
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills;
- In addition to Italian, knowledge of another national language and English;
- Solid IT skills (Microsoft Office);
- Willingness to travel between multiple sites;
- Established skills in process management/development and organisational transformation;
- Solid experience in digitalisation and innovation of information processes;
- Professional experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
