For our client, a traditional company in the metal industry, we are looking for an experienced purchasing professional who independently drives the procurement process and continuously optimises the existing stock range. In this role, you will take on a central role in negotiations, build sustainable supplier partnerships, and work cross-functionally with internal departments. We are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded, technically skilled specialist with solid purchasing experience who values independent work.
- Further development of the stock assortment and establishment of new sources
- Participation in contract negotiations and conducting supplier audits
- Independent handling of complaints and customer concerns
- Involvement in the training of commercial apprentices/junior staff
- Proficient use of MS Office and common CRM solutions
- Fluent German and good English skills for negotiations
- Structured, independent working style with an entrepreneurial mindset

Responsibilities
- Maintaining supplier contacts and managing day-to-day purchasing operations- Further development of the stock assortment and establishment of new sources

Profile
- Technical basic training with several years of professional experience in purchasing- Proficient use of MS Office and common CRM solutions
