School Social Worker Primary School Uster, fixed-term 75%Good for life – that is our motto. The Office for Youth and Career Counselling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counselling. Children, young people and families are at the centre of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment.
For the Primary School Uster, we are looking for a fixed-term school social worker (75%) from 1 December 2026 to 31 December 2027 or by arrangement. You advise and support pupils, parents and teachers in educational and social matters. In crises and conflicts, you carry out interventions in classes. Furthermore, you provide prevention and project work. You work with the school management, school teams and specialist agencies.
You bring:
- a diploma from a university of applied sciences in social work or social pedagogy
- professional experience in school social work or the CAS School Social Work with counselling experience at the interface of youth welfare and school
- skills in the areas of counselling, prevention and intervention
- an independent and interdisciplinary way of working
- strong communication skills
- enjoyment in working with children and young people in the school environment
