YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Conducting reviews and checking requirements for verification/validation in international approval projects for rail vehicles (no testing)
- Supporting the Safety Manager in approvals for the approval process
- Developing validation and verification plans for the projects
- Assessing the conformity of the development process with European standards, including the assigned safety integrity levels
- Accompanying type tests for detailed evidence in verification and validation
- Reviewing the correctness, consistency, and appropriateness of test cases as well as conducted tests and test tools
- Ensuring that all validation and verification activities are carried out according to relevant standards
- Conducting audits, inspections, or reviews as needed at various stages of the project lifecycle
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed technical degree and professional experience in the development of safety-relevant systems, ideally in the railway sector
- At least 5 years of experience in functional safety, safety engineering, and relevant standardization (EN 50126, 50128, 50716, 50129, ISO 13849 or IEC 61508)
- High analytical skills, assertiveness, and pronounced communication skills at all levels
- Quick comprehension and a strong interest in technical problem-solving
- Technical knowledge related to rail vehicles is an advantage
- Proficient in common MS Office applications
- Very good knowledge of German and English (minimum level B2)
