The apprenticeship as a Polymechanic EFZ lasts 4 years. During this time, you attend vocational school 1 - 2 days a week. With good grades and a passed entrance exam, you also have the opportunity to attend the vocational baccalaureate school during the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship as a Polymechanic EFZ is designed to be very varied. In addition to training with us, you attend inter-company courses (ÜKs), where you learn the necessary techniques of a polymechanic in course centers. After the apprenticeship, you are excellently positioned in the job market. Polymechanics are in demand skilled workers.
These tasks await you:
- You develop and manufacture various battery, plant, and machine prototypes.
- You manufacture parts and tools from metals as well as plastic and composite materials using machining (turning, milling, and grinding).
- You ensure the required quality using measuring and testing instruments.
- You assemble machines and plants and commission them.
- You maintain and repair machines and plants.
