- The Integration and Training Office of the Asylum Sector (OIFA) of the Migration Service (SMIG) is tasked with promoting the social and professional integration of people from migration backgrounds, through training, support and integration measures. The objective is to enable them to achieve the autonomy necessary for participation in economic and social life. The integration component includes a team of socio-professional integration advisors for the population holding an S permit.
As part of your role, you welcome, inform and advise individuals holding an S permit to promote their professional integration in Switzerland. In this capacity, you define with them a professional integration or training project that is both realistic and achievable, then support them throughout its implementation. You work closely with the various partners and entities involved in this process, notably with the employment service, to ensure coherent and coordinated support. Furthermore, you handle the administrative follow-up of files, process the necessary information, write the required reports and monitor the integration indicators defined by the service. Finally, you represent the SMIG within various working groups involved in implementing the professional integration process.
Holding a university degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in social sciences or psychology, you have proven experience in the fields of training and social and professional integration. You are familiar with the regional economic fabric and have a strong interest in migration. Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, you quickly establish a climate of trust thanks to your ease in communication, your listening skills and your openness to dialogue. Comfortable in group facilitation, you enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating autonomy. Methodical, organised and dynamic, you also have good stress resistance as well as analytical and initiative-taking abilities. This role requires proficiency in common IT tools (Word, Excel, Outlook), excellent writing skills and a very good command of spoken English. Knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian is an asset.
