The Reformed Church Community of Zurich is the largest church community in Switzerland by membership. It reaches a wide range of people throughout the city with its offerings and caters to the needs of very diverse people with its innovative forms of church life. 

Zytlos is an independent institution within the Reformed Church Zurich. With its café (gastronomy) and diverse formats, it offers an inspiring place of encounter and community where people from very different walks of life are welcome. The offerings create experiential spaces for contemporary, everyday spirituality.
 

Your tasks

• Theological leadership of Zytlos and content responsibility for the spiritual orientation
• Promotion of an everyday, contemporary spirituality
• An open ear and pastoral care for the diverse visitors
• Participation in the implementation of existing formats and development of new ideas
• Exchange with the operational and strategic management of Zytlos
• Maintaining participatory processes
• Networking within the church community and in Church District 2
• Accompanying and shaping the transition and reconstruction phase (temporary premises 2027, planned reopening and rebuilding Q1/2028)

Your profile

• Enjoyment of new church forms and low-threshold access to spirituality
• Ability to address and involve people from different walks of life
• Teamwork, flexibility and networking skills
• Transparent, appreciative communication
• Independent, conceptual way of working and openness to change processes
• Master’s degree in Theology or equivalent qualification
• Ordination and eligibility certificate
