Senior Physician at the Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service West
We are looking for a Senior Physician for the Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service West (SPPAO) in Prangins. He/she will be in charge of an 18-bed adult hospital unit.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
Attached to the Department of Psychiatry, the Prangins Hospital provides care for patients from Western Vaud. It offers investigations and diagnoses, treatments and care for adult mental and behavioural disorders (all pathologies) and a therapeutic approach centred on the patient, their family, their context, on the therapeutic relationship, continuity of care and a multidisciplinary approach.
Mission
- Assume medical responsibility for the clinical activities of an 18-bed adult hospital unit and organise its clinical operation
- Manage the administrative organisation as well as the responsibilities of the unit
- Contribute to, participate in and guarantee the postgraduate training of SPPAO by establishing all the conditions to enable it
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the entire Service.
Profile
You hold an FMH title as a Specialist in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy or deemed equivalent - MEBEKO and PsyCo recognition for foreign diplomas
- You have a Doctorate in Medicine - MEBEKO recognition for foreign diplomas. You have undergone team management training or have an interest in developing these skills.
- You know how to unite, motivate and manage a multidisciplinary team
- You possess analytical, synthesis, planning and organisational skills
- You are solution-oriented with decision-making and action capacity and know how to take initiatives. You master the French language (minimum level B2 - certificate required).
