What you can achieve
- Quality assurance along the procurement process: Monitoring and ensuring the quality standards of suppliers and internal processes. Conducting audits and inspections to ensure that all procurement processes comply with the specified quality guidelines.
- Supplier management: Close collaboration with suppliers and service providers to review, evaluate, and further develop their quality systems. Conducting supplier audits and quality training. Ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual agreements.
- Monitoring and reporting: Creating and maintaining KPIs and quality metrics for procurement. Regular reporting to the Head of Quality on quality issues, risks, and improvement measures.
- Training and coaching: Training employees on quality topics related to the procurement process. Promoting a continuous quality culture throughout the company.
- Compliance and risk management: Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, norms, and legal regulations (e.g., EN9100, AQAP2110). Identifying and minimizing risks in procurement through preventive quality measures.
What you bring with you
- Completed technical education (EFZ, HF or FH) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field with further training in quality assurance/management
- At least 5 years of professional experience in quality management, ideally with a focus on supply chain management, purchasing, or logistics. Experience working with international suppliers is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., EN9100, ISO 9001), quality methods (8D, RCA, ...) as well as experience with audits and supplier management
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence. Team-oriented working style with very good communication skills. Independence, initiative, and a structured way of working
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
