What to expect
- Exciting customer portfolio in the public sector with development potential and diverse contacts at different hierarchical levels
- Independent management and strategic development of existing customers as well as active acquisition and reactivation of new customers

- Active participation in strategies to increase customer profitability and satisfaction
- Active maintenance of customer relationships at all hierarchical levels as well as identification of decision-making processes and relevant stakeholders
- Responsibility for meeting sales, budget and target requirements as well as initiating appropriate measures to achieve goals
- Preparation of offers, orders and contracts as well as active involvement in public tenders and invitation procedures
- Close cooperation with sales, purchasing, marketing and other internal departments to develop optimal customer solutions
- Ensuring seamless data maintenance and documentation of all relevant activities in the CRM system
- High personal responsibility in planning and organising your sales activities within your area of responsibility
- Collaboration in a motivated and successful team with extensive know-how in the public sector
What you bring
- Commercial basic training with technical further education or technical basic training with commercial further education
- Ideally further training in sales and/or marketing
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in key account management, preferably in the public sector environment
- Solid industry and product knowledge in eCommerce, ICT and related B2B markets (especially IT hardware, CE and business supplies)
- Experience with public tenders, procurement processes or complex customer structures is an advantage
- Confident and professional appearance as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to build and develop trusting and sustainable customer relationships.
- High initiative, entrepreneurial thinking and motivation to achieve demanding goals
- Analytical thinking as well as a structured and independent working style
- Good user knowledge of MS Office, especially very good Excel skills, as well as experience with CRM systems
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form; additional language skills (English, French or Italian) are an advantage
- Willingness to travel within the area of responsibility (approx. 60%) in the Eastern region
