The Department of Urban Planning & Building Construction, together with the Department of Civil Engineering & Traffic, is responsible for all matters in the areas of construction, planning, traffic, and environment. With the completed revision of the building and zoning regulations, you can expect diverse and future-oriented tasks.
We are looking for a Specialist in Building Construction (Construction Administration) (60%) to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
With your solid knowledge, you competently and reliably advise builders, owners, and planners in the building permit process.
You are responsible for reviewing and processing building applications and preparing building decisions for the city council.
Supporting and reviewing expert reports for applications from the Dr. Hans Dietschi Foundation as well as general administrative tasks in the field of building construction complete your range of duties.

Your profile
You have successfully completed training or studies in a construction-related, planning, or legal field (architecture, spatial planning, civil engineering, or similar).
You have basic knowledge of public law, ideally in building and planning law, and have preferably already gained practical experience in dealing with building applications, building procedures, or construction law issues.
You enjoy daily contact with the public, specialist offices, and authorities, impress with your confident demeanor, and are characterized by your independent, structured, and responsible way of working.
