Do you want to perform your civil service where your contribution truly makes a difference? At the Schüpfen Senior Centre, you support our residents in their daily lives, work as part of a committed team, and gain valuable experience in a diverse working environment.

The Schüpfen Senior Centre offers a home to 54 residents as well as 22 serviced apartments. At the heart of our actions are individual care, respectful interaction, a strong service orientation, and professionalism.

From the very beginning, you are part of our team. During your placement, you will be carefully introduced, accompanied by experienced professionals, and gain exciting insights into the various areas of a modern senior centre. You can take on responsibility, contribute your skills, and make a valuable contribution to the well-being of our residents.

Whether care, activation, or technical service – together we will find the area of deployment that suits your interests and abilities.

Duration of placement

Depending on the area of deployment, your placement lasts between one and six months. We are happy to discuss the various options with you and find the right placement together.

Care and Activation

Your tasks

• Care and accompaniment of residents
• Shaping daily life for individuals and groups
• Assisting with annual and weekly planning
• Contributing to seasonal decoration
• Administrative tasks
• Co-organising and carrying out events and excursions

Technical Service

Your tasks

• Repair and maintenance work
• Garden maintenance
• Cleaning work indoors and outdoors

Activation and Technical Service

Would you like to work in two areas? Then this combination is just right for you. You support both the Care and Activation team and the Technical Service, gaining varied insights into both fields of deployment.

Your profile

• communicative and reliable
• empathetic
• enjoy working with older people
• good German language skills, spoken and written
• manual dexterity and good physical condition (for placements in Technical Service)
