The beautifully located Hochweid Retirement Center in Kilchberg includes a retirement and nursing home with space for around 48 residents as well as a care living group with 10 places for people with dementia. The focus of our work is on palliative care and dementia care. Also part of our center is a retirement settlement with 53 senior apartments as well as 5 additional senior apartments in the Conradstift at Dorfstrasse 80/82.

You can look forward to this challenge
- Leadership and development of a committed service team with 9-10 employees
- Ensuring a professional, appreciative service in the dining room, cafeteria, and on the wards
- Active participation in daily business four days a week (early and late shifts) and involvement in events and banquets
- Planning and implementation of events as well as promoting a pleasant atmosphere for our residents, tenants, and guests
- Responsibility for deployment planning, orders, inventory management, as well as daily and monthly closings
- Management of the cash register system
- Ensuring and compliance with hygiene and quality regulations
- Budget responsibility in the service area, invoice control, and inventory
- Active participation in interdisciplinary collaboration with other teams and areas of AZ Hochweid
This is what we expect from you
- Completed vocational training as a restaurant specialist EFZ
- Further training as a team leader (professional examination) is an advantage
- Several years of professional and leadership experience, ideally in long-term care or community catering
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form with understanding of Swiss German
- Enjoyment in dealing with elderly people, high service orientation, and empathy
- Organizational skills, resilience, and pronounced team and communication skills
- Independent, structured way of working with a high sense of responsibility
- Very good IT skills
- A warm, empathetic, and humorous basic attitude
