Stefan Hasler nominated for the board
The board of the General Anthroposophical Society has decided, following this year’s General Assembly and with a view to the coming years, to co-opt Stefan Hasler onto the board.
Due to his willingness to take on this role and after consultation with the Goetheanum leadership in June and most recently at the beginning of October with the conference of general secretaries and country representatives, Stefan Hasler will be nominated for the General Assembly at the end of April 2024.
Since 2015, Stefan Hasler has led the Section for Speaking and Musical Arts and is a member of the leadership of the Goetheanum stage as well as the Eurythmy Ensemble. Previously, he worked for the Eurythmy School and Stage Hamburg and later was the first professor of Eurythmy at the Alanus University. He is also closely connected to many tasks, initiatives, and responsibilities of daily life in Dornach as a member of the Goetheanum management and as a Swiss national.
An addition to the board also seemed necessary because Matthias Girke, after his seven-year term (2017 to 2024) and handing over the leadership of the Medical Section after the upcoming General Assembly, will not be available for another board term. We ask for the members’ approval at the 2024 General Assembly and look forward to the shared board responsibility.
