<div class="jobListItemText"> For our financial services client in Luzern we are looking for an experienced Java Analyst / Developer.<br/><br/>In this classic "Schnittstelle" position, you will be bridging the business and technology gap and performing a wide range of tasks including:<ul><li>Developing the Java Software Application further to increase the functionality</li><li>Taking care of all aspects from frontend to backend, including working with Databases, Middleware, etc, but less frontend</li><li>Providing L3 Support for the business</li><li>Speaking with the business about their needs and putting together suggestions/documentation</li><li>Application Management</li></ul>As you can see this Java Analyst/Developer job is a little bit of a "Swiss Army Knife" or "die eierlegende Wollmilchsau"... so expect your day to day to be quite varied and we are looking for someone who is mainly a Java Developer but who can be a lot broader.<br/><br/>To apply for this job you should have:<ul><li>Fluent German (at least C1 level), including the ability to write documentation in German</li><li>Strong Java Development experience</li><li>Experience being business facing </li><li>Able to take responsibility and perform different functions</li><li>Financial services experience is an advantage but not a must</li><li>Willingness to be 3 days per week onsite in Luzern, with 2 days work from home</li></ul>Tom O'Loughlin looks forward to receiving your application in either English or German. </div>
