How to reach us

You can reach us by public transport (summer only) as well as by private car. As a hotel guest, you travel free of charge on the post bus in summer! In winter, the winter bus runs regularly from Meiringen to Schwarzwaldalp.

During the winter half-year, there is limited winter service on the Lammi - Schwarzwaldalp road and a snow chain requirement.

Since summer 2013, the entire Reichenbachtal is a managed parking zone. Please pay the fee when entering our valley (payment point, credit cards accepted) or at the machine on Schwarzwaldalp (coins only, no change). The municipalities of Schattenhalb and Meiringen use the revenue for road maintenance.

Since December 2010, we, Melanie and Johann Zenger with team, have been pleased to welcome you to Chalet-Hotel Schwarzwaldalp.

We are a simple mountain hotel and do not offer 4 stars at the house, but our creative Alpine cuisine with international influences, our friendly team and the great location of the house more than make up for it!
