Grid Project Engineer Line Construction with Focus on PLS-CADD
Your area of responsibility
- Ensuring technical quality in the realization of extra-high voltage lines – from preliminary project to commissioning
- Technical support of project management throughout the entire project process
- Creating and checking PLS-CADD models as well as ensuring compliance with all Swissgrid requirements (your most important tool: PLS-CADD / Tower)
- Specification and evaluation of procurement of planning, trade, and operational equipment services
- Preparation of preliminary project dossiers including technical clarifications, expert opinions, ecology and occupational safety management, as well as preliminary clarifications with authorities
- Review of work by external planners and service providers regarding standards, cost-effectiveness, ecology, regulatory requirements, and applicable safety regulations
Your profile
- Completed engineering degree (BSc/MSc) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in planning, designing, or maintaining line construction projects in the transmission network
- Good knowledge or strong motivation to quickly familiarize yourself with the software package Tower / PLS-CADD
- Strong ability to clearly structure tasks and work packages and to empower and support project partners through effective communication
- Good knowledge of Swiss regulations and standards in line construction as well as the methodology for implementing complex infrastructure projects along the SIA phases
- Very good German and French skills (at least one language fluent in negotiation) as well as good English skills
- Your place of residence is in Switzerland
