Your Role

As Head of the Technical Office, you are responsible for the unit's technical expertise. You support the unit manager in strategic technical decisions and accompany the technical execution manager in the realization of complex projects.

Your Main Tasks

• Technical Planning: Independent processing and dimensioning of contractor variants for excavation pits, foundations, underpinning, and water retention
• Strategy & Leadership: Definition and control of the technical strategy as well as professional support and development of the team
• Work Preparation & Calculation: Development of technical solutions and execution methods to support the calculation phase
• Quality & Standards: Ensuring compliance with SIA standards, SUVA requirements, and internal standards as well as monitoring the quality of calculations and plans
• Innovation: Promotion of new technologies (e.g., BIM), process and equipment optimizations
• Representation: Representing the company towards clients, planners, geologists, and authorities as well as actively maintaining customer contacts

Your Profile

• Engineer in civil engineering or geotechnics (FH, ETH or equivalent)
• Solid experience (10+ years desirable) in planning and realizing demanding civil engineering projects in Switzerland
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss construction practice and relevant SIA standards
• Natural leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and entrepreneurial, solution-oriented thinking
• Proficiency in specialized software (DC software, Plaxis, Cubus, Autocad), knowledge of SAP and BIM is an advantage
• German and French spoken and written, English skills are an advantage
