About the job
As head of the specialised Visual Communication department, you tell the story of the Bern Cantonal Police through images. You develop creative and impactful content as part of a team and shape the visual identity of the Bern Cantonal Police across all channels.
Your tasks
- Technical management, supervision and development of the Visual Communication team
- Design, planning and implementation of video, photographic and other audiovisual projects
- Development and realisation of innovative visual formats for various channels, including social media
- Development of visual communication combining proven approaches with new creative and experimental media forms
- Close collaboration within the Communication Newsroom and with various divisions to ensure a uniform and modern visual identity
- Monitoring and analysing current trends and developments in visual communication
Your profile
- Degree or training in multimedia content creation, communication design, visual communication or an equivalent qualification
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, supported by several years of experience
- Several years of professional experience in visual communication with a specialisation in video production and/or photography
- Creative mindset and ability to produce high-quality productions as well as lighter formats for digital channels
- Keen sense of visual design, storytelling and brand management
- Proven knowledge of current social media platforms, their requirements and impact in the field of visual communication
- Ability to think operationally and conceptually and to execute projects efficiently
