In the Central Triage and Emergency of Psychiatry at Emmental Hospital, we are the first point of contact when people experience a mental crisis or when specialist offices need quick orientation. We clarify, stabilize, and refer further with clinical assessment, structured conversation, and a clear view of the psychosocial environment.

Psychiatry Specialist (a) 60–100%
Your role
You bring calm and structure to dynamic situations, prioritize confidently, and act with professional expertise. In exchange with doctors, nursing, social services, and partners in the network, you shape initial contacts reliably and appreciatively, even when things need to move quickly.
- Telephone and personal initial contacts as well as counseling of affected persons, relatives, and specialist offices
- Independent initial assessments, emergency conversations, and crisis interventions, on-site if necessary
- Triage into the services of the Psychiatric Service and organization of sustainable follow-up solutions
- Active networking with referrers, authorities, and the psychosocial system in Emmental
What you bring
- Master's degree in Psychology, psychiatric nursing training HF, FH, APN
- Experience in psychiatry
- Independence and joy in responsibility
- Strong communication skills, oral and written
- Recovery-oriented attitude and interest in networked, systemic collaboration
