Quality & Care Safety Coordinator at DFME
The Women-Mother-Child Department Directorate is looking for a 50% Quality & Care Safety Coordinator for April 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) includes the Gynecology, Obstetrics, Neonatology, Pediatrics, and Child and Adolescent Surgery Services. More than 1,500 professionals work within this department. We care for women throughout their lives on gynecological, obstetrical, and psychosocial levels, as well as children from birth to adolescence.
Mission
- You operationalize the quality and safety (Q&S) strategy defined by the department and service management
- You coordinate Q&S governance activities
- You coordinate risk management activities of the DFME services
- You support continuous improvement and promote communication, training, and development of the Q&S culture within the department and its services
- You propose Q&S projects and support their implementation within the department and its services.
Profile
- You have training in the health field
- You have completed a certified training (DAS level) in quality and/or safety
- Additional training in project management is an asset
- You have at least 2 years of experience in risk management and quality management
- You master the standards, directives, and rules in force within the institution
- You have excellent information transmission skills and a natural pedagogical approach
- Your critical thinking, synthesis ability, and logic are major assets
- You are comfortable with data analysis and know how to draw relevant conclusions.
Depending on your profile, the salary class will be between level 9 and level 11.
