Who are we?
The Childhood and Youth Service (SEJ) is committed to the children and young people of the canton of Fribourg. It is the specialised cantonal service responsible for implementing policies in favour of childhood and youth and child protection. Its services are aimed at children, young people, their families, various authorities and anyone in contact with children or young people.

The internship is offered for a duration of 6 months.
Your tasks
You will work with human resources and the management of our service. You will be responsible for maintaining our HR databases and monitoring our HR processes. You will participate in drafting internal directives as well as in political impact analyses in our professional fields. Based on the provided guidelines, you will be tasked with preparing arguments to present the service's position. To accomplish your tasks, you will collaborate with all sectors of our service as well as with various partners in the child protection network. You will have contacts with the Directorate of Health and Social Affairs as well as with the State's personnel and organisation service and will carry out administrative work related to the assigned files.
Desired profile
- Master's degree in social/political sciences, public management, occupational psychology or a diploma deemed appropriate for the role
- Interest in human resources, social policies and child protection
- Excellent synthesis skills, good analytical abilities and writing proficiency
- Ability to work independently, organisational and planning skills
- Sense of confidentiality
- Fluent command of French, both spoken and written, with knowledge of German
