Head of Production and Purchasing
Member of the Executive Board (m/f/d | 100%)
Your Responsibilities
- Leadership of the production and purchasing organization at the headquarters as well as all global supplier partners
- Ensuring efficient and high-quality production of machines and systems: from prototype construction in Duggingen to purchased, decentralized pre-production with on-site assembly
- Further develop and proactively drive the global supplier and production partner strategy, including monitoring the scope of services and end-to-end responsibility for own and purchased quality
- Optimization of processes and IT systems of supply chain, purchasing, internal and external manufacturing to increase transparency, quality, and competitiveness
- In cooperation with the branch manager Rheinfelden-Herten (DE), develop investment and capacity planning for machines / personnel / infrastructure
- Ensure interface management between development, production, purchasing, quality, project management, and service to guarantee smooth processes
Your Profile
- Several years of leadership experience in production and purchasing environment of an internationally active mechanical engineering company
- Solid experience in building and managing global production partners as well as in international technical purchasing
- Deep technical understanding of mechanical engineering and industrial manufacturing processes
- Proven competence in process optimization, supply chain management, and building efficient procurement structures
- Strong leadership and communication skills, common sense, and ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage international partners
- Entrepreneurial thinking, high result orientation, and experience in implementing long-term industrial and production strategies
