The Steinfeld nursing and retirement home is located in the center of the village of Suhr, in close proximity to Aarau, and offers 99 older, independent, and care-dependent individuals a comfortable home.
This is what you will achieve with us
- Free choice of working hours between 40-100% and flexible shift selection (morning or evening shifts). Shifts can be individually divided into half or full shifts
- You are responsible for the professional care and support of the residents and will be flexibly deployed throughout the house in all departments or integrated into one of the three care teams
- You are a primary caregiver and work in the primary care system (including family involvement)
- You share responsibility for the implementation of the qualified care process
- You are responsible for the preparation, checking, and distribution of medications
- You actively maintain collaboration with family members and doctors, therapists, etc.
This is what you bring
- Training as a Health Specialist EFZ, Care Specialist EFZ with further education in medical technology and pharmacology (or willingness to complete this) or Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/DN2/DN1 (or equivalent training)
- Experience in long-term care
- Preferably experience with the LOBOS care manager
- Empathy, flexibility, and teamwork skills as well as an independent, responsible, and committed work style
- Ability to make decisions independently and correctly within your area of competence
- Willingness to change and enjoy participating in change processes
