Responsible for the technical and operational delivery of railway maintenance projects, ensuring fleet availability, safety compliance and contractual performance.
Acting as the key interface between clients, site crews and headquarters, the role oversees project planning, maintenance coordination, cost control and regulatory compliance.

Description
Key Responsibilities of the Railway Maintenance Project Manager
- Implement and manage service contracts with international railway clients, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Oversee project planning, execution and performance monitoring, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline and technical specifications
- Act as primary technical interface with clients, managing change requests, claims and evolving operational requirements
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the railway maintenance fleet
- Ensure fleet compliance in line with the EU 4th Railway Package and ECM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance) Level 3 and 4 requirements
- Develop and optimise CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) and ERP-driven fleet management processes
- Prepare, manage and monitor operational budgets and cost performance
Profile
Profile & Experience of the Railway Maintenance Project Manager
- Degree as Technician or Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred),
- Proven experience in railway works supervision, technical operations or heavy equipment maintenance,
- Strong understanding of railway rolling stock and fleet management principles,
- Knowledge of ECM Levels 3 and 4 requirements is highly desirable,
- Fluency in German is mandatory ; English and French are nice to have,
- Swiss residency or willing to relocate in Switzerland,
- Willing to travel : up to 25% of working time.
