The ZFV Cooperative Enterprises (ZFV) create inspiring meeting places together with partners, delight with hospitality and authentic experiences. Founded in 1894 by visionary Zurich citizen women, ZFV still places special emphasis on innovation and sustainability today. In over 200 establishments throughout Switzerland, ZFV employees take care of the needs of customers and guests. Areas of activity include restaurants, cafeterias, staff restaurants, hotels, mobile catering solutions, catering, bakeries, and daycare centers. The cooperative actively shapes society and takes a stand for the environment, equal opportunities, and inclusion, living hospitality for a society in which we all want to live.
The cafeteria of the Pedagogical University of Zurich, located directly at Zurich main station, offers space for 340 guests plus an additional 100 seats in the courtyard during summer. In addition to the 650 meals produced daily, numerous aperitifs, banquets, and seminar catering for up to 500 people are also carried out. Furthermore, the cafeteria of the ZHAW located on the site, as well as the gastronomy of the Zurich Business School and the Sihlhof bistro, are managed with an attractive catering offer. True to the ZFV philosophy, fresh food is cooked on site with regional as well as ecologically sensible and fairly traded products.
