About the job
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex.We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain initial experience in the kitchen area during a fixed-term assignment of 6 to 12 months starting 1 October 2026 at the Brühlgut Retirement Home.
Your Tasks
- Ensuring the cleaning of dishes and furniture
- Assisting with daily kitchen cleaning
- Supporting the kitchen in preparing vegetables
- Helping with plating dishes
Your Profile
- Desire to gain first experience in the tasks of a catering operation
- Interest in learning a versatile craft
- Willingness to work physically
- Flexibility to work different shifts
- Willingness to work weekend shifts
- Understanding of the Swiss dialect and oral German skills
