First contact: Our process generally starts with a brief virtual/phone conversation to learn more about you! The goal? To get to know you, understand your motivations, and ensure that we offer you the position that suits you best!
Interviews (on average, the number of interviews is 3 – it may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet members of our team: your future manager of course, but also other people with whom you will be working. These interviews will allow us to learn more about you, your experience, and your skills, as well as about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our history, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, you may be asked to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Being a DBA SQL Server consultant at Amaris Consulting means playing a strategic role in managing, optimizing, and securing our clients' databases, while being an ambassador of our technical expertise. You will work on high-value projects, from design to maintenance, ensuring the performance and availability of systems.
Your missions
Administer, configure, and optimize SQL Server environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.
Implement and maintain reliable backup and restore procedures.
Monitor performance and diagnose issues to provide proactive fixes.
Manage updates and SQL Server version migrations.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for databases and procedures.
Ensure access rights management and compliance with security standards.
Your profile
Proven experience in SQL Server administration (installation, configuration, optimization, troubleshooting).
In-depth knowledge of high availability mechanisms (Always On, clustering, mirroring).
Skills in planning and implementing backup and restore strategies.
Knowledge of T-SQL scripts and task automation.
Academic background: engineering school or university with a specialization in computer science or information systems.
Fluent in French, professional English (fluent English is a plus).
