The Mental Health Division team brings together experienced professionals working 24/7 in specialised units – adult acute psychiatry, psychogeriatrics, addiction medicine and psychosocial rehabilitation – offering integrated and individualised care in open or closed environments according to needs. It also carries out liaison and training missions recognised by the ISFM, contributing to the quality of care and the training of psychiatrists.

Bilingual Associate Physician in Psychiatry (German - French)
This evolving position offers a stimulating environment where clinical practice, innovative projects and commitment to training combine daily. As part of your mission, you will ensure a high-level outpatient psychiatry activity, integrating billable clinical production, clinical supervision missions, postgraduate training and institutional activities, while participating in the continuity of service of the entire Mental Health Division, to guarantee quality, safety and efficiency of care within the adult outpatient psychiatry service, in a bilingual context.
Job Description
Clinical Activity
Provide outpatient psychiatric consultations (diagnostic evaluation, development and follow-up of therapeutic projects) in compliance with the quality and billing objectives of Le Réseau de l’Arc.
Manage complex clinical situations within the outpatient field
Ensure rigorous clinical documentation, compliant with medico-legal and billing requirements
Contribute to the continuity and coordination of care with internal and external partners
Supervision and Training
Provide clinical supervision of physicians in training (residents and senior registrars)
Support diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making processes
Actively participate in formal and informal clinical teaching
Coordinate postgraduate training, in connection with the ISFM, physicians in training and institutional bodies
Organisational Contribution
Participate in clinical colloquia, service meetings and interdisciplinary exchanges
Contribute to the development, harmonisation and continuous improvement of clinical practices
Promote inter-site collaboration and the bilingual functioning of the Mental Health Division.
Specific responsibilities in addition to the above points :
Participation in telephone on-call duties and weekend shifts, organised and shared among all FMH-certified senior psychiatrists of the Mental Health Division

Qualifications
You hold a medical degree in psychiatry with a specialisation in adult psychiatry, recognised by the Swiss authorities (MEBEKO). You also hold the FMH specialist title (or equivalent) in psychiatry.
You master French and German at a C1 - C2 level ideally
You have confirmed experience in outpatient psychiatry. Experience in supporting patients in acute psychiatric care would be a valuable asset. Significant experience in an academic environment is also desirable.
You possess strong skills in listening, analysis and decision-making, and are able to manage stressful and complex situations effectively. You are autonomous in your practice while respecting the protocols and values of the institution.
You appreciate working within a multidisciplinary team and are able to communicate effectively with your colleagues. Your team spirit is an asset for contributing to the collective development of our psychiatry service.
