Operations Manager Public Transport 80-100%

For our new operational site at Pfannenstiel, we are looking for an Operations Manager. The primary workplace is initially Zollikon. In parallel, the secondary site Oetwil am See will be developed and mid-term established as the main site.

• You are responsible for the operational process of 6 bus lines in the Pfannenstiel area.
• You are responsible for the direct management of around 50 driving service employees in public transport (PT) at the Zollikon and Oetwil am See locations.
• You take over the scheduling of all employees and vehicles.
• You lead the driving staff with the overarching goal of bringing our passengers safely, customer-friendly, and punctually to their destination.
• You are the first point of contact for our clients.
• You recruit new employees with the support of the managing director.
• You steer the conversion of the existing diesel bus fleet to electric drive.

• Experience in scheduling and team leadership
• Advantage: Experience in public transport
• Advantage: Category D with competency certificate or willingness to acquire Category D in the company’s internal driving school
• Training in the commercial field
• Very good PC skills
• Confident, efficient handling of applications in the M365 suite
• Confident use of AI tools
• Clean criminal record certificate required
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and on-call duties
• Efficient and pragmatic working style
