Linden, widely known for its ski lift and motocross, is home to nearly 1300 inhabitants and lies on the border between the Aare and Emmental regions. At the Dorf school building, nearly 100 children attend classes in four primary and one secondary class, while the kindergarten is located in the Jassbach school building, about 2 km from the village school. The classes are taught in mixed groups 1st-3rd A/B, 4th-6th A/B and 7th-9th by 15 teachers.

Tasks
For a maternity leave, we are looking for a committed teacher (qualified or in training) to support our team as a substitute.
Thanks to internal arrangements with the job partner, we have already covered part of the lessons. Currently, however, 4 to 5 lessons on one day are still to be assigned.
Information about the substitute position
Class: 4th/5th/6th Primary A, multi-grade class with 17 children
Day: Tuesday
Time: 10:15 to 15:05 or until 16:05 for 5 lessons
Subjects/Lessons:
• 2 lessons of PE (4th/5th/6th grade), including 5 weeks of swimming lessons
• 1 lesson German 6th grade (7 pupils)
• 1 lesson German 4th/5th grade (10 pupils)
• possibly 1 lesson Media & IT (5th/6th grade)
Duration: from the autumn holidays 2026 to the spring holidays 2027
(Tuesday, 13.10.2026 to Tuesday, 06.04.2027)
Requirements
• Teacher (qualified or in training)
• Valid SLRG Basic Pool certificate for swimming
