- Maintenance, servicing, and modification of our flight simulators, including computers and peripheral devices
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting in close collaboration with other engineers
- Ensuring the availability and operational readiness of the simulators
- Ongoing updates to positively impact the performance and accuracy of the training devices
- Close cooperation with other departments to ensure seamless integration of the simulators into the training environment
- Competent and service-oriented point of contact for our international customers
- Participation in various projects

Requirements
So that you can get off to a successful start in this role, there are a few things that are important to us. Take a look at the skills and qualities we are looking for in you.
- Completed vocational training as an Automation Technician EFZ, Electronics Technician EFZ, or a comparable technical qualification with at least 5 years of professional experience
- A higher technical qualification at HF level is desirable
- Experience in electronics / microelectronics and IT
- Solid expertise in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex systems is required
- Knowledge of the programming languages C++ and C, operating systems Unix/Linux/Windows, and TCP/IP networks
- Experience in the maintenance of aircraft systems (avionics) is an advantage
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and shift work
- Strong teamwork skills, initiative, and a high level of resilience
- Good command of English, both written and spoken

Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) ranks among the global leaders in the field of flight training and employs a staff of around 700 at ten training locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the USA. LAT’s training equipment includes flight simulators for all common types of aircraft for pilot training, emergency and service mock-ups for the basic and further training of flight attendants, as well as numerous training aircraft for pilot training.
About the LAT Switzerland AGLufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland AG (LAT CH), with a total of around 300 employees, is part of the Lufthansa Aviation Training Group. At the LAT Training Center in Zurich-Opfikon, around 8’000 graduates undergo their initial and further training as cockpit and cabin crews every year. This also includes basic pilot training at the European Flight Academy in Zurich (theory) and Grenchen (practice). LAT Switzerland's customers include SWISS, Edelweiss, other airlines as well as Rega and the Swiss Air Force. Under the motto "Beyond Aviation", LAT CH also offers various courses for business and private customers.
