Workstation Technician at the Information Systems Department
The Information Systems Department of CHUV is looking for a Workstation Technician at a rate between 80% and 100% to strengthen its team. The starting date is scheduled for August 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Attached to the Infrastructure Department, the Information Systems Department (ISD) is responsible for all IT and telecommunications services within the institution.
Mission
- You ensure the installation of IT equipment in the park
- You ensure the maintenance and troubleshooting of the various IT equipment in the park
- You provide technical assistance to users and IT correspondents
- You participate in maintaining and improving the quality of service of the technical group
- You work Monday to Friday and only during office hours. No on-call duty or standby is required.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an IT technician or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position within an IT support team in a large company
- You have good knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, and IOS systems
- You have good rigor and precision in your work (documentation, follow-up, reporting)
- You have a good ability to concentrate despite continuous interruptions
- You are autonomous while having a good ability to collaborate in a team
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You have a good aptitude for self-training
- You have knowledge of ITIL processes
- You care about helping users, you have a natural empathy and know how to be pedagogical
- You are interested in new technologies
- You hold a category B driving license.
The salary class will be between levels 6 and 7, depending on the profile.
