Focus areas of our neurology department include, among others, the epilepsy consultation, the multiple sclerosis outpatient clinic, and the stroke unit.
We are looking for a specialist (m/f) who is already experienced in performing EEGs and evoked potentials and, if possible, is willing to care for infusion patients as well as assist in the MS outpatient clinic.The position is also suitable for committed and curious medical practice assistants (m/f) who have a flair for technology and want to learn how to perform EEGs and other neurophysiological diagnostic methods. If suitable, there is also the possibility to complete the neurophysiological diagnostics course alongside work.
You will be supported by a motivated team in a very varied daily routine. You benefit from regular working hours without night or weekend shifts. Friday is a mandatory working day.
- independently performing EEGs and evoked potentials (if FND training is available)
- learning to perform EEGs on outpatient and inpatient patients (if no FND training is yet available)
- organizing the MS consultation, dispensing and administering medication to patients with multiple sclerosis
- conducting simple tests to assess patients' mobility
- assisting and preparing medical procedures (LP, Botox), blood draws
- have completed vocational training as a medical practice assistant or are a trained specialist in neurophysiological diagnostics
- work independently
- ensure quick, efficient familiarization with new topics, tasks, and processes
- have good MS Office skills as well as very good and confident German language skills
