We support a manufacturer of security solutions in filling the position in operational purchasing. The company develops and produces electrical products at several locations, which are distributed in over 100 countries. With more than 50,000 employees in over 40 countries, the manufacturer is one of the leading providers in its industry.
- Creation and maintenance of framework agreements as well as setting up and managing subcontracting and production orders
- Ongoing analysis and optimisation of procurement and disposition processes including preparation of forecasts for demand planning
- Verification, account assignment and approval of supplier invoices as well as central interface function between production, logistics and internal departments
- Participation in the supervision of apprentices in the purchasing area
- Additional qualification as a purchasing specialist or technical merchant
- Several years of experience in operational procurement
- Confident German and very good English skills
- Experienced use of common MS Office applications
- Flexible working hours

Tasks
- Responsibility for the operational procurement of production and trading materials as well as ensuring optimal inventory management- Creation and maintenance of framework agreements as well as setting up and managing subcontracting and production orders
- Ongoing analysis and optimisation of procurement and disposition processes including preparation of forecasts for demand planning
- Verification, account assignment and approval of supplier invoices as well as central interface function between production, logistics and internal departments
- Participation in the supervision of apprentices in the purchasing area
Profile
- Completed technical or commercial basic training- Additional qualification as a purchasing specialist or technical merchant
- Several years of experience in operational procurement
- Confident German and very good English skills
- Experienced use of common MS Office applications
