What is my role?

As a Strategic Buyer, you are the driving force behind clever procurement strategies at our client! You develop and implement innovative purchasing concepts that advance the company.

• You analyse procurement markets and identify new suppliers and optimisation potentials

• You negotiate framework agreements and conditions with national and international partners

• You develop long-term purchasing strategies and implement them operationally

• You work closely with various departments and advise them on procurement matters

• You conduct market and competitor analyses and derive recommendations for action

• You continuously optimise purchasing processes and ensure cost savings

What do I need to be successful?

You bring the following:

• Commercial or technical basic training with further education FH degree in Industrial Engineering / Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM)

• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing company

• Negotiation skills and assertiveness - you know how to create win-win situations

• Analytical thinking and a structured way of working

• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written

• Confident handling of MS Office and ideally knowledge of SAP MM or a comparable ERP system

• Strong communication skills and team spirit - you enjoy working with various stakeholders
