Job Description

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and qualified Health Specialist for the recovery room/day clinic area. In this role, you will make a significant contribution together with qualified nursing professionals to the safe, competent, and empathetic care of our patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Your area of responsibility:

• Taking on defined nursing and medical tasks within the established competence profile and under delegation from the qualified nursing professionals HF/FH 
• Preparing patients professionally for procedures and informing them about the process and relevant safety aspects
• Ensuring professional and close postoperative monitoring and care in the recovery room
• Recognising emergency situations and initiating appropriate measures within the competence profile
• Early detection of deviations from the norm and passing on information to the qualified nursing professionals HF/FH
• Independently carrying out medical orders within the competence profile
• Preparing and administering medications and infusions according to the clinic's guidelines and standards in line with the competence profile
• Ensuring careful, complete, and legally compliant documentation of all nursing interventions and information to a qualified nursing professional HF/FH
• Promoting active collaboration within intra- and interprofessional teams
• Consistently adhering to all clinic guidelines, processes, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Health Specialist EFZ or equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland
• Resilient, reliable, and efficient in dynamic situations
• Strong attention to detail in documentation
• Team player with strong communication skills 
• Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts
• Good German language skills; additional languages are an advantage
