For its Mex site in Switzerland, BOBST Mex SA is looking for its future Process Specialist in flatbed printing and die-cutting. This is a full-time permanent contract to be filled immediately.

You are currently an experienced operator, a specialist in this type of process, with strong skills in helioprinting and inline/integrated die-cutting? This position is made for you.

This position involves international travel that can reach 50-60% of working time.

Your main mission

The main objective of the "Process Specialist" is to ensure that each printing and inline die-cutting machine installed and commissioned at our customers meets the required quality and productivity levels.

This is achieved by providing first-class support, assisting and accompanying during the first productions while continuing to train on machine settings and operation.

Your Responsibilities

Training and production assistance at our customers:

Monitoring project progress and advancements made at our customers

• Instruct customer operators for efficient machine operation, high-quality printing and die-cutting.
• Quickly correct and/or resolve problems and troubleshoot any machine malfunctions for effective results.
• Cooperate with R&D departments to solve problems and propose solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and expertise to customers to ensure excellent long-term results.

• Ensure a constant ramp-up of production and customer knowledge by assisting them on site.
• Follow the project before and after machine acceptance by customers (FAT and SAT) to achieve high production volumes and consistent quality.
• Establish strong on-site relationships while adhering to safety standards.

. Skills and experience:

Soft skills:

• Expertise in die-cutting and printing processes, including settings and troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 8 to 15 years of experience in Hélio printing and inline die-cutting, knowledge of flatbed die-cutting is an asset, as well as Flexo printing.
• Experience with reel-fed machines and die-cutting for cardboard.
• Good command of technical English.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages.

Willingness to travel abroad 50 to 60% of your working time.

• Team spirit and integration ability.
• Interest and curiosity for continuous improvement and machine operator training.
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
• Flexibility and taste for travel.
• Autonomy and customer service sense.
