The Appenzeller® Show Dairy is a showcase and brand ambassador for Appenzeller® cheese and thus the spicy excursion destination in the Appenzellerland. The lively, tourist day operation with restaurant, shop and experience exhibition about the dairy delights guests from all over the world 364 days a year.
To complement our reception team in the show area, we are looking for a motivated personality with joy in sales, consulting and guest care. Do you like Appenzeller® cheese, the Eastern Switzerland tourism region and direct contact with people from different backgrounds? Then you are exactly right with us!
Your tasks:
- Guest reception and ticketing at the entrance to the show area including closing the daily cash register
- Care of infrastructure and materials in the show area
- Customer advice and sale of the entire range of the show dairy at the reception desk, by phone or by e-mail including creating offers and booking reservations
- Support of the hosts for the tours as well as support of the hosts during group reception
- Administrative support of the show area management
You bring with you:
- Completed commercial training, ideally in the hotel, gastronomy, tourism sector
- Neat appearance as well as good manners in spoken and written language
- Commitment, teamwork, flexibility and stress resistance
- Efficient and customer-friendly working method on PC, telephone and reception desk
- Good IT skills
- Languages: German (native), English spoken and written, preferably French skills and other languages desired
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
