Case Manager at the Medical Directorate
To strengthen its team, the Medical Directorate (DIM) of the CHUV is looking for a case manager with a workload of 70% to 100%, on a permanent contract. The starting date is scheduled for 1 October 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The Medical Directorate (DIM) ensures the quality and safety of care at the CHUV. It supports clinical services in the evolution of their practices, manages medico-insurance and medico-legal aspects of medical activity, and contributes to the continuous improvement of institutional processes.
Mission
- You handle medical information requests from insurers for patients cared for at the CHUV
- You ensure the administrative follow-up of file requests in collaboration with insurers, clinical services, Patient Administrative Management (GAP) and the Medical Coding, Control and Archiving Centre (CCAM)
- You participate in the overall management of requests processed by the unit
- You inform internal and external contacts about the procedures in force
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of file processing procedures and participate in the implementation of optimisation actions.
Profile
- You hold a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification
- You have more than 3 years of professional experience, ideally acquired in the hospital or insurance sector
- You are familiar with the functioning of the hospital environment, medical terminology and institutional tools (Soarian, Archimède, Axya, Qualiac, Ultragenda, etc.), which is an asset
- You master office tools and are comfortable managing data from several applications
- You demonstrate good analytical skills, rigour and excellent organisational sense
- You enjoy teamwork, have good interpersonal skills and communicate with ease
- You are dynamic, adaptable and motivated by continuous improvement
- You have a perfect command of French and good knowledge of English.
