About the job
Your Tasks
- Software development and programming of algorithms for perception, motion planning and decision-making of robots
- Experimental research & labs: setting up test environments and demonstrators, conducting scientific studies, supporting robotics events and hackathons
- Supporting the development team in all phases of the research and development process, from concept development to practical implementation, as well as co-responsibility for the laboratory hardware infrastructure (cobots, mobile platforms, legged robotics, sensor systems, ...)
- Contributions to research by supporting and collaborating in the writing of scientific papers, as well as presenting results at specialist conferences
- Supporting education and training in the field of robotics & artificial intelligence
Your Profile
- Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor or Master) in computer science, robotics, AI/ML, data science or a related engineering course
- Expertise in robotics and AI, as well as sound knowledge of ROS/ROS2
- Confident programming skills in at least one relevant language (Python and/or C++)
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Good English skills
- Ability to multitask, solve problems quickly and efficiently, and work independently
