Automation Engineer

APCO Technologies specialises in the design and manufacture of high-quality mechanical and electromechanical equipment for space, energy and industrial applications.

Fields of activity: Energy, industry.

What you will achieve:

You ensure software development on programmable logic controllers for our complex industrial machines from the definition phase through to commissioning: specification documents, programming, testing, debugging and on-site commissioning.

You rigorously write and monitor software design documents intended for fields that must meet stringent regulatory requirements.

You work closely with electrical engineers and actively participate in drafting functional analyses and risk analyses of the equipment whose design is entrusted to you.

What you bring:

You hold an engineering degree with 5 years of experience in programming industrial machines.

You can demonstrate several years of development experience in a field integrating rigorous design methodologies.

You master programming of Siemens S7 PLCs, TIA Portal, HMI and Schneider Electric Unity Pro.

Ideally, you are familiar with lifting or positioning systems.

You are proficient in English both spoken and written.

You are available for commissioning assignments at our clients' sites.
