Team Leader Manufacturing Engineering 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Manufacturing Engineering team

• Prioritisation, coordination and resource planning of projects and tasks

• Promotion of professional development and coaching of team members

• Close collaboration with production, quality and engineering

• Definition, implementation and optimisation of efficient and stable manufacturing processes

• Management of improvement processes to optimise manufacturing processes

• Responsibility for prototype runs, feasibility studies as well as process and equipment approvals

• Analysis of production metrics (e.g. OEE, scrap, cycle times, downtimes)

• Conducting root cause analyses (e.g. Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, 8D) in case of process deviations

• Evaluation of process capabilities and derivation of data-based measures

• Preparation of reports, decision bases and business cases for management

• Ensuring and further development of process documentation

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering or comparable

• Several years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally with initial leadership experience

• Sound knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other optimisation methods

• Experience in project management and change management

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Analytical thinking and solution-oriented working style

• Team spirit and the ability to inspire and motivate people

• Very good German and English skills
