Main tasks
- Responsible for the handling and coordination of complex supervision cases at institutions under FINIG/KAG in the area of case management and intensive supervision
- Preparation of cases for escalation to Enforcement and/or Recovery and Resolution
- Coordination and collaboration with regular supervision as well as other involved business areas of FINMA and foreign supervisory authorities
- Ensuring the appropriate use of FINMA's supervisory instruments, including conducting any on-site inspections within the framework of case management or intensive supervision
- Handling complex supervisory and policy issues and managing thematic analyses
- Advising and handling specialist questions for the senior management of the business area
- Coordination of internal expert groups within the area of competence
Profile
- Certified auditor (or comparable qualification), preferably with a completed university degree (law or economics)
- Many years of professional experience in auditing financial service providers in asset management (including collective investment schemes) or extensive experience in compliance/risk management in this area
- Strong conceptual, analytical and communication skills
- Quick comprehension, independence as well as a high level of planning and organisational talent characterise you
- You possess a very high level of commitment, initiative and intrinsic motivation
- Very good French or German skills (C2), with good knowledge (B2) of the other languages as well as very good English skills (C1)
- Italian language skills are an advantage
