About the job
The city of Thun offers comprehensive day schools and ensures care before and after lessons for all kindergarten and school children. The day schools are organised as part of the Thun public school system.
For the Pestalozzi and Progymatte day schools, we are looking for a temporary position from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement until 30 June 2027 (with the option of extension)
Your tasks:
- Care and individual support of day school children (4 – 16 years)
- Planning and implementation of projects and leisure activities
- Collaboration and supervision during lunch provision
- Supervision of homework and accompaniment
- Assistance with organisational tasks
- Administrative work
You bring with you:
- Completed educational or social pedagogical training
- Enjoyment in working with children
- Sense of responsibility, independence and flexibility
- Assertiveness and high resilience
- Organisational and improvisational talent
