The district capital Dietikon is a vibrant regional center and an important economic location in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the canton of Zurich has around 28,000 inhabitants and counts 3,100 students. The Dietikon school comprises six school units.
The Central school unit is the second largest school in the canton of Zurich with around 750 students. At the QUIMS school, children are taught from kindergarten to secondary level. The five intake classes from Dietikon are also assigned to the Central school unit.
To complement our school management team, we are looking for a committed and strong leadership personality as of January 1, 2026, or by arrangement
Your tasks
• Co-responsibility for the pedagogical and personnel management of the secondary level (Cycle 3)
• Close cooperation with the existing principal (100%) and the primary school management team
• Leadership and support of teachers in everyday school life
• Participation in the further development of the school and teaching culture
• Promotion of cooperative, trusting collaboration within the school management team
• Cooperation with parents, SSA, ISB, SPD and other specialist offices
Your profile
• Teaching diploma for secondary level I (or equivalent qualification)
• Several years of teaching experience at the secondary level
• Completed school management training or willingness to complete it
• Integrative, responsible and motivating leadership personality
• Team-oriented, structured and solution-oriented working style
• High resilience and flexibility
• Strong communication skills and confident appearance
• Good ICT user skills
