Your Tasks
Rapid Response Team: Would you like to apply your professional experience in an extraordinary environment and support medical services at major events? We are looking for qualified professionals from nursing and emergency services to build our rapid response team. Deployments are on a freelance basis for planned major events as well as unplanned special incidents.
Special Deployment Area: As a member of the rapid response team, you support medical services during increased demand for medical and personnel resources. You will be deployed at both planned major events and sudden large-scale incidents. You will work at a fixed medical aid station within the respective event area.
Medical Task: You take on professional initial care, assessment, monitoring, and support of patients. Within your professional competencies, you carry out medical and nursing measures and assist with triage as well as preparation for further care steps. Tasks depend on the specific deployment situation and the established procedures of the medical service.
Role in the Deployment Team: You work closely with qualified paramedics HF and other deployment and partner organisations. Clear communication, mutual support, and a shared understanding of respective roles form the basis for safe care. Even in dynamic situations, you maintain an overview and contribute to coordinated incident management.
Deployment Outside Regular Emergency Services: Your deployment takes place exclusively at a defined, location-bound site and not on a regular ambulance. This is therefore not a role in classic emergency services or the independent execution of primary missions. Instead, you have the opportunity to apply your expertise in a special preclinical environment.
Your Profile
Experience: You preferably have at least five years of professional experience in an acute care area, emergency care, intensive or anaesthesia nursing, or emergency services. You act confidently and professionally when dealing with acutely ill or injured persons. Experience with major events, special deployments, or in interprofessional teams is welcome.
Personality: You are flexible, reliable, and willing to take on deployments at short notice depending on the event. In demanding and confusing situations, you remain calm, communicate clearly, and act responsibly. You enjoy working in a team, respect established leadership and deployment structures, and ideally live in Northwestern Switzerland.
Education: You hold a diploma as a nurse HF or as a paramedic HF. Further training with an NDS HF in emergency nursing, intensive care, or anaesthesia nursing is advantageous. The necessary recognitions and authorisations for professional practice are in place.
To prepare you well for your new role, we invite you to our training and exercise sessions.
