Job description
1. Key Account Management & Business Development
- Development and continuous further development of key account strategies and customer concepts
- Creation of annual key account plans including sales, distribution and marketing targets
- Building and maintaining long-term partnerships with assigned key accounts
- Conducting business reviews and presenting new collections
- Identifying growth and optimisation potentials within the managed key accounts
2. Sales Performance & Commercial Steering
- Analysis of sell-in, sell-out, stock and performance figures and deriving appropriate measures
- Responsibility for achieving sales, volume and distribution targets
- Management of sales and marketing budgets including investments
3. Leadership & Coaching
- Professional and personnel leadership of the Sales Planning team (1 employee)
- Leadership and development of the Regional Sales Manager (1 employee)
- Leadership of the internal sales team (3 employees)
4. Distribution & Market Development
- Development of the distribution strategy in collaboration with the Brand Manager
- Analysis of POS openings, closures and location developments
5. Projects & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Participation in the annual business plan together with the Brand Manager
- Leadership and coordination of customer-related projects
- Representation of the sales organisation in the Marché Suisse Management Team
6. Customer Care Region Western Switzerland
- Support of customers in Western Switzerland (BE, JU, SO, FR, VS, NE, VD, GE)
- Presentation of new collections as well as advice on assortment, stock optimisation and sales development
Profile
- Sales-oriented basic training
- Further training as Key Account Manager or Sales Manager
- Experience and personality are more important than qualifications
- Organisational talent
- Resilient, flexible, open-minded, innovative
- Good customer relations
- Networked thinking, ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Negotiation skills
- Strong ability to coordinate and communicate (especially internally)
Professional requirements
- Approx. 3-4 years experience in field sales and customer management
- If possible, experience in the consumer goods sector
- Experience in dealing with key accounts
- Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Use of RMIS, MyStore
Languages
- German, French and English spoken and written
- Italian an advantage
