Apprentice Gardener EFZ, Specialisation in Plant Production

1 training position available from August 2027 As an apprentice gardener with a green thumb, you design and maintain floral work indoors and outdoors for passengers, visitors, and employees. You cultivate plants in your own greenhouse and outdoors. You create plantings in flower beds and planting towers around Zurich Airport or design floral artworks for events and occasions, airport lounges, or office spaces. Additionally, you ensure the maintenance and watering of indoor and outdoor greenery and provide expert advice to our customers in our own shop. Your job destination

• You advise our customers personally and by phone in our own shop
• The care of seasonal flower beds, shrubs, perennials, and flower beds is your responsibility
• You bring life to our greenhouse and outdoor areas by passionately cultivating plants and helping them to bloom
• With your creative talent, you design floral artworks and impressive decorations for unforgettable events and special occasions
• You ensure that our indoor and outdoor greenery always shines in full splendour by taking care of the maintenance and watering of hydroponic and soil cultures as well as plant courtyards

Your skills in your luggage

• You have successfully completed the compulsory secondary school education
• You are interested in ornamental plants and enjoy nature
• Your manual skills and creativity distinguish you
• You enjoy practical activities such as designing, building, and maintaining (outdoors and indoors)
• Your working style is characterised by independence, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
• A quick grasp and a love of logical thinking are among your strengths
• You are flexible, resilient, and have a high willingness to learn and perform
• You like to express yourself fluently and articulately in German, both spoken and written
