About the job
You ensure that our fibre infrastructures run reliably. With your technical know-how, you guarantee smooth operations, coordinate partners, and support our customers with demanding technical issues.
What you can achieve with us
- Ensuring the reliable operation and quality of our fibre networks
- Analysing, localising, and resolving faults in our fibre networks
- Performing splicing and measurement work as well as assessing and documenting measurement results
- Carrying out patching and measurement work on the fibre infrastructure in our fibre stations
- Coordinating and accompanying service partners during maintenance, expansion, and fault clearance work
- Performing and supporting installations and commissioning on our fibre networks
- Updating splicing plans, technical documentation, and network data
- Contributing to the further development and optimisation of workflows and operational processes
- Participating in on-call and standby duties
What defines you
- Completed technical training, for example as an electrician, assembly electrician, telematics technician, or in a comparable technical profession; experienced career changers with corresponding fibre know-how are also welcome
- Practical experience in operating fibre infrastructures as well as in splicing and measuring fibre optic connections
- Confident reading and implementation of splicing plans and technical documentation
- Experience with network and data centre infrastructures is an advantage
- Confident use of digital tools and good user knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Enjoyment in analysing and solving technical challenges
- Independent, reliable, and customer-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills and confident manner when dealing with customers, partners, and internal departments
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
- Driving licence category B, category BE is an advantage
